GPRS Locates Post Tension Cables - Englewood, Colorado 1

GPRS who is Nationwide, is local to Denver and was able to mobilize to the site to perform a GPR scan. The concrete imaging process was able to identify dozens of PT cables in the areas of cutting within a matter of hours.

The use of traditional x-ray is this situation was not possible for several reasons. First, The scan areas were also an active jobsite. There were also residents that could have been exposed to harmful radiation that is associated with x-ray. Second, x-ray is not able to scan slab-on-grade concrete because there is only access from one side. Ground Penetrating Radar can perform concrete imaging with NO radiation and access is only needed on ONE side of the concrete.

Not only can GPRS locate post tension cables in Denver, but we have many other services that we can perform throughout the Front Range of Colorado. Concrete scanning can map underground utilities in Aurora, determine the depth of rebar cover in Boulder and locate conduits prior to core drilling in Colorado Springs.
